Coquet Sprint Triathlon & Aquabike 2026
From the Triathlon England Winners of Small Event of the Year 2025, we are excited to be running our 2026 event on the 21st June 2026.
An open water sprint triathlon and aquabike. The swim is in the River Coquet with views of Warkworth Castle.
The river is tidal and the water temperature is on the cool side. Wet suits are likely to be compulsory (an exemption will be requested from British Triathlon). The bike is fast and mostly flat and the run has a mixture of grass, trail and pavement.
Race HQ will be based in the Yacht Club at Amble with parking for the event in public pay to use car parks. Please car share, use public transport or cycle to the event where possible. Please register in the Yacht Club before the event and then join us afterwards for coffee and cake and, of course, the presentations.
