Club Bike Rides

UNLED RIDES

We have weekly unled Sunday club bike rides for members of Alnwick Triathlon Club (weather permitting).

Riders to meet at Homebase Garden Centre car park. What3words:comedy.nightfall.complies.

Rides to set off at 9am.

Riders must be experienced at riding in groups and able to maintain a pace of 12-14mph for 30 miles plus.
Riders must be familiar with the guidelines, risk assessment and emergency action plan - documents are below.

LED RIDES

We also have led rides for members where you don't need any previous experience of cycling in a group. These rides will be added to SportMember as and when they are arranged, watch out for them!

Each Leader can take 8 riders with them.

The guidelines, risk assessment and emergency action plan for the led rides are below. Riders should be familiar with the guidelines for the led rides.

ALL RIDES

Maximum of 10 riders per group.

If more than 10 attend the riders should split into separate groups. Faster riders may form a faster group.

Riders must book their place on the ride in SportMember.

Routes will be advertised in advance. Riders must familiarise themselves with the route.

Rides may be cancelled or amended at short notice due to weather conditions.

Any cancellations or amendments will be communicated through SportMember. Please watch out for notifications / chat messages.
