Í samstarvi við Svimjisamband Føroya bjóðar Havnar Svimjifelag hervið hjartaliga vælkomin til Føroya til Swim Open Tórshavn, ið er kapping yvir tríggjar dagar: 24., 25. og 26. apríl 2025.
Hetta spennandi tiltakið verður í okkara spildurnýggju nýmótans svimjihøll í Gundadali, sum liggur í myndaríka høvuðsstaðnum Tórshavn. Kappast verður í umstøðum, sum lúka OL-standard, við tað, at hylurin er 50m við 10 geilum, umframt, við einum 25m svimjihyli til upphiting og avsvimjing, og einum luksus vælveruøki.
Altjóða viðurkendir dómarar koma at døma Swim Open Tórshavn og er kappingin góðkend av World Aquatics, LEN, og IPC, sum tryggjar kappingarførar umstøður í heimsflokki. Harumframt bjóða vit møguleika fyri venjingarlegu áðrenn og aftaná stevnuna fyri at fáa meira burturúr vitjanini.

Following the success of the inaugural Tórshavn Open in 2024, we are thrilled
to announce its return!
The Tórshavn Swim Club (Havnar Svimjifelag), in association with the Faroe Islands
Aquatics Federation, warmly invites you to the Faroe Islands for Swim Open
Tórshavn, a 3-day competition set to take place on April 24th, 25th, and 26th, 2025.
This exciting event will be hosted in our brand new state-of-the-art swimming
complex, Svimjihøllin í Gundadali, located in the picturesque capital city of
Tórshavn. The facility features an Olympic-standard competition pool (50m, 10
lanes), a separate 25m pool for warm-up and cool-down, and a luxurious wellness
area.
The Swim Open Tórshavn is officiated by internationally recognized referees and
approved by World Aquatics, LEN, and IPC, ensuring a world-class competitive
experience. Additionally, we offer opportunities for training camps before and after
the meet to enhance your visit.

Tórshavn Swim Open – accomodations

Prices:

Double room: Dkr. 700 pr. night, incl. breakfast

Triple room: Dkr. 1.000 pr. night, incl. breakfast

Lunch: Dkr. 150 – Dinner: Dkr. 180 – Lunch bag: Dkr. 100 – It is possible to use public transport (for free), og we can make a deal with at taxi-company.

By car it is a 5-10 minutes drive to the pool.
