How to join the section

In order to join the section you should:

1. Be a member of the ECB Sports and Cultural Club in SportMember.

2. Pay a one-time registration fee of 25 euros (10 euros for trainees). 

This money will be used to purchase equipment for the section: tables, balls, and other training equipment.

How to play

• Location of play is the balcony at the end of the 2nd floor of the conference area in the Main Building (Grossmarkthalle)
• Tables are located in
  • The sixth floor of the building at the end of the Grossmarkthalle (use the left elevator as the tables do not fit in the other one). The one with the door close to the ramp, just the opposite corner when accessing from the entrance. See the pictures below the calendar.
  • Moreover one/two tables are located in the ground floor. Check also in the pictures how to find them. Please leave there only the minimum material to avoid losing rackets and balls.
• Members can reserve a table for playing at a specific time and we also have blocked slots for open play and trainings (Fridays).
• Hours of play are weekdays after 5:30pm and weekends during the whole day.

Please note that today (dd/mm/yyyy) the table tennis section will be using the usual training space on the side at the end of the Grossmarkthalle.

Please turn on the lights from 18:00 till 20:00 of the Freifläche Konferenz - in Grosmarkethalle (the big area).

Booking procedure

• All players must be paid–up current registered members of the ECB S&CC and Table Tennis Section.
• Additional bookings for Sunday can be made as of Friday midday; additional bookings for Monday are possible as of Sunday midday.
• To book, insert your name in a calendar slot, stating as much as possible the time of play and tables needed so others can also book in advance and play at the same time if tables are free.
• Some hours will be blocked beforehand and for weeks in advanced for open play and group trainings. The Table Tennis Committee will set up these times taking into consideration members demands.
