Overview
RIVERSPORTS SECTION
The Riversports Section is focused around dragonboat, comprising 20 paddlers in pairs facing toward the bow of the boat, 1 drummer at the bow facing toward the paddlers, and 1 steerer at the rear of the boat. Dragon boaters are paddlers, not rowers.Training takes place on Wednesdays, 19:00 - 20:00 The dragonboating summer season begins in early April and runs through to the end of September. For those eager to keep paddling during the colder months, winter training remains available. The team is composed of members from various Frankfurt dragonboat clubs, fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration. The season concludes with a few memorable paddling trips to the festive Frankfurt Christmas Market.The ECB Euro Dragons actively participate in dragonboat races and other paddling events, both in the Frankfurt area and internationally . Please be informed that the Riversports Section does not offer rowing trainings. Those interested in pursuing rowing are encouraged to reach out to one of Frankfurt’s rowing clubs and join as individual members.
