Are you looking for a fun sport with amazing teammates and lots of team spirit? Then you have come to the right place!
The Women's Team also known as ARK Ladies has existed since 2014, when a handful of fresh ladies decided to start playing rugby. At first, the ladies trained alongside the men's team before getting a team and trainers of their own.
In 2016, ARK Ladies officially played their first tournament with a full team. And in 2021, the team won their first medals when they achieved Bronze at the DRU 7s Tournament.
The women's team plays 7s rugby.
Our women's team consists of ladies from various backgrounds and experiences. We have a core of Danish players as well as International players mainly from Europe at the moment. Worry not, there is always room for new players from all over the world as training is usually in English.
Our players have different experience levels from the rookies who wanted to try something new and never touched a ball before to seasoned players.
Our motto is that rugby is a sport for everyone, regardless of experience, origins, or fitness level. Everyone has a role on the team no matter shape or size as long as you are ready to have fun and play rugby.
Practical Information:
The women's team trains every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7 PM.
There will be breaks during the summer holidays and winter.
Dates vary from year to year and will be given by the Team Captain.
Training takes place at ARK Park.
Address: Vårkjærvej 75, 8260 Viby J
