TBAC Membership: Categories Benefits and Prices

Basic Membership – £64.80 per membership year. (£5.40 per month)
(Increasing from 1/4/2025 to £67.20 per membership year £5.60 per month)

Plus UK Athletics registration fee of £19 which we collect and send to UKA

• Designed for people who cannot come to Club Sessions at the Sports Training Village (STV) on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. For example, due to work or family commitments, or where they live. This applies to Track facilities within the STV and to coach led groups on the roads or St Johns Field
• Basic members are still part of the Club and can compete under the Club name. They can receive the Club newsletters and take part in media groups. The fee includes £19 UK Athletics registration, which has many benefits, and can only be paid through a Club.
• This membership may be paid in full at the start of the membership year or pro rata for new members joining later in the year. No monthly Direct Debit option.
• If a Basic Member requires Ad Hoc access to the STV a Guest Pass can be purchased through the web site. See below.

Full Membership – £129.60 per membership year. (£10.80 per month)
(Increasing from 1/4/2025 to £134.40 per membership year £11.20 per month)

Plus UK Athletics registration fee of £19 (£20 from 1/4/2025) which we collect and send to UKA

• For members who want to attend the STV regularly on Club evenings.
• Benefits are as for Basic Members
• Additional benefits: Social mixing, Expert coaching: Strength and conditioning: Injury advice: Training on the track and field: Coach-led group runs.
• It is best for the club if this membership is paid in full at the start of the membership year. It can be paid pro Rata for members starting later.
• Monthly Direct Debit payment option: Pay once only £19 UKA registration fee (£20 from 1/4/2025) and 12 payments of £11.88 (Increasing to £12.32 from 1/4/2025)

Family Membership – 100% 90% 80% 80%

• This is designed to help and encourage family groups with multiple TBAC Full Members and does not apply to 365 academy members
• Membership benefits are as for Full Members
• First Full Member pays as above.
• Second member of the same household: £116.64 or 12 x £10.70 DD. (plus annual UKA fee of £19)
  (from 1/4/2025 £120.96 or 12 x £11.09 (plus annual UKA fee of £20)
• All subsequent family members: £103.68 or 12 x £9.50 per month DD. (plus annual UKA fee of £19)
  (from 1/4/2025 £107.52 or 12 x £9.86 (plus annual UKA fee of £20)

Bath University Student – £64.80 per membership year (£5.40 per month)
(Increasing from 1/4/2025 to £67.20 per membership year £5.60 per month)

Plus UK Athletics registration fee of £19 which we collect and send to UKA

• This recognises the fact that Bath University Students already have STV access as part of their student benefits
• Membership benefits are as Full Members
• As with Basic members this membership may be paid in full at the start of the membership year or pro rata for new members joining later in the year. No monthly Direct Debit option.

Students at universities other than Bath

• Students may wish to join as basic members if they live away from Bath. for example ,having been TBAC members whilst at school
• Students from other universities back in Bath for holiday who with to train at the Club may purchase single access guest passes as below.
• Students wanting to train at TBAC for a short defined time or with unique circumstanes should contact the membership secretary

Second Claim Membership. This confuses people so please read this carefully

• People can be a paid-up member of more than one athletic club
• But they need only pay for UK Athletic registration once
• The club they do this through is called their first claim club
• Other clubs they belong to are known as their second claim clubs
• If TBAC is your second claim club, membership in your chosen category can be £19 cheaper, as your UKA affiliation will be paid by your first claim club

Second claim membership costs (Reduced pro-rata if joining later than April)

• Basic Membership: £64.80 (No UKA fee plus £5.40 per month)
• Full membership: £129.60 (No UKA fee plus £10.80 per month) or Monthly Direct Debit (£11.88 per month)
• University Student, £64.50 (No UKA fee plus £5.40 per month)

We are happy to discuss alternative payment options as needed. Please email us. Members with special circumstances or financial needs should feel free to contact the membership manager at [email protected] who can liaise with the treasurer. We will ensure that any requests are handled confidentially.. Team Bath AC is supported by the Natasha Lewis Foundation who are able to offer funding to those members who require extra financial support.

Please note that membership payments are non or part refundable. If you wish to resign from TBAC please notify us in writing
