Behind every routine, competition, and training session at Leeds Synchronised Swimming Club is a dedicated team of coaches and volunteers who make it all possible.
Our coaching team brings experience, passion, and energy to every session. They are committed to developing each swimmer’s technical skills, strength, artistry, and confidence in the water. From beginners learning their first sculls to competitive athletes refining advanced figures and routines, our coaches create a supportive environment where every swimmer can progress at their own pace. Working within the pathways and standards of Swim England, our coaches are focused not only on performance, but also on athlete wellbeing, teamwork, and enjoyment of the sport.
Our club simply wouldn’t run without our incredible volunteers. From committee members and team managers to poolside helpers, judges, costume coordinators, fundraising organisers, and competition support — volunteers are the backbone of Leeds Synchro. They give their time, skills, and enthusiasm to ensure training sessions run smoothly, events are organised, and swimmers have every opportunity to succeed.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team — whether you can offer a few hours at competitions, help with fundraising, support behind the scenes, or even train as an official or assistant coach.
No experience is necessary — just a willingness to get involved and support our swimmers. Training and guidance can be provided, and volunteering is a fantastic way to meet other families and be part of our vibrant club community.
If you’re interested in helping, you can sign up at any time — we would love to welcome you to the team!
