Safeguarding at Razor FC – Important Information for All Parents and Carers

Wed, 05 Aug 2026, 11:30

The safety and welfare of every child at Razor FC is our highest priority. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we ask all parents, carers, coaches and club officials to report any concern, even where it may initially appear minor.

A safeguarding concern should be reported if you are worried about:

  • The safety, welfare or wellbeing of a child
  • The conduct of a coach, volunteer, parent, spectator or player
  • Bullying, discrimination, harassment or inappropriate language
  • Inappropriate physical contact, messages or online communication
  • Possible abuse, neglect or exploitation
  • Any situation in which a child may have been placed at risk

Razor FC Safeguarding Contact

Razor FC’s Welfare Officer and Safeguarding Lead is Louisa Bryant.

Email: [email protected]
Telephone: 07883 080066

Concerns can be reported by telephone or email. Please provide as much factual information as possible, including what happened, when it happened, who was involved and whether there is an immediate risk to a child.

Every report will be taken seriously, treated in the strictest confidence and investigated appropriately. Information will only be shared with those who need to know in order to protect the child and meet the club’s safeguarding obligations.

Where a child is in immediate danger or urgent assistance is required, please call 999.

Escalating a Concern

If you are not satisfied with how Razor FC has handled a safeguarding concern, or you do not feel able to report the matter directly to the club, you can contact:

The FA Safeguarding Team
Email: [email protected]
Telephone: 0800 169 1863 and ask for The FA’s safeguarding team.

Concerns can also be reported to:

  • The police or local children’s social care services
  • The NSPCC on 0808 800 5000
  • Email: [email protected]

Free Safeguarding Course for Parents and Carers

We strongly encourage every parent and carer to complete The FA’s free Safeguarding Awareness for Parents and Carers course.

The course explains the safeguarding responsibilities of the club, its officials, coaches and parents, and helps you understand how to recognise and report concerns.
